I love Stella's feet. She usually crosses them one over the other, whether she's going to sleep (crossed), lying on the ground (crossed), sitting in my lap (crossed)...her little feet are so darn cute. They're cold most of the time (just like mine), so she wears socks a lot, but today I took her socks off so that I could watch her little feet in action. She's fully crawling now - she squeals with joy when I chase her across the floor in her room - and she uses her feet to push herself off and to try to stand up, sometimes ending with her body in a complete V. Her legs and feet dance when we pick her up right before bathtime - she's going to LOVE Zumba someday (just like me)! Her second toe on her left foot is shorter than her third toe (just like mine) and it sticks up a little, which is kind of funny. I can't get enough of every detail of this tiny person. Today she is eight months old and I can't imagine ever coming to the end of what I'm learning about my daughter, from the tiniest details of her physical being to the most amazing aspects of her personality...I'm so thankful she's my little girl.
